100th Episode of Dog Whisperer - Reunion Party

Cesar Millan, The Dog Whisperer at OffLeash, Offleash News — Posted by Laurie on April 1, 2008 at 2:52 pm

On Sunday, March 30th, Don, Rudy, Monte and I attended a Reunion Party celebrating the 100th Episode of the Dog Whisperer.  The reunion was held at the Pickwick Gardens in Burbank with many of the people who have appeared on the show or who will be appearing in the 2008 season.

There were 104 balanced dogs in attendance.  We were amazed at how ‘balanced’ the dogs were.  There was virtually no barking and the dogs were well behaved for the entire 4 hours!  Rudy & Monte were so mellow and often times just chilled out on the grass.  If someone had told me a year ago that I would have been hanging out with 104 dogs at a party and my dogs would have been lying on the grass relaxing, I would have thought they were crazy.  Check out the Photo Gallery to see some of the pictures of Rudy, Monte & Daddy at the party.

We didn’t have a chance to thank Cesar again as the crowd was large and he was being filmed a lot of the time.   It was nice to see the production crew again who had spent the day with us back in November for the filming.

We suspect our show will be aired some time this April or May.

  1. OffLeash on The Dog Whisperer:

Tune in to National Geographic/The Dog Whisperer on Friday, May 30th at 8pm to see how Cesar rehabilitated Rudy & me, of course.

  2. I just saw that show. The Whippets are beautiful. What really came thru during that episode was how much loved they are. We are just getting a dog park where I live so I know when I take my Lab and Doxie for the first time it will be scary. I’m thinking the Lab will be the easier one then the Doxie but “ME”. being the difficult one. Thank you for letting us view your doggies.

My husband and I had a running bet that even Cesar wouldn’t try to take on a whippet :)

  5. Hi Pat: Thanks for your post. The show has been airing quite frequently since the original night. Not sure when it will be on again but you may want to check the National Geographic website. Our episode was #420 and/or look for Rudy & Monte’s name. I wish Cesar would have worked his magic and found Vivi the lost JFK whippet from 2/2006.
